Music

Our school has a rich tradition in music where pupils learn to play instruments such as guitar, piano, ukulele, recorder, and tin whistle. Music is a core part of our school life, and our pupils showcase their talents annually in performances, including welcoming passengers home at Christmas at Cork Airport, spreading joy and festive cheer.

Chess

We encourage strategic thinking and problem-solving through our chess programme. Our pupils compete in local competitions and participate in the Fícheall Tournament, developing their skills and sportsmanship.

Table Quizzes

Our pupils love to test their knowledge and teamwork in table quizzes, including the Ballincollig Credit Union Table Quiz. These events are a fun way to promote learning, collaboration, and friendly competition.

Art and Creativity

We foster creativity and self-expression through art. Our pupils regularly enter competitions such as the Texaco Art Competition, where they can showcase their artistic talents and gain recognition for their hard work.

Christmas Performances

Our Christmas performances are a highlight of the school year. We alternate between festive plays and carol services, giving our pupils the opportunity to perform, sing, and celebrate the season with their families and the community.
